Why does Smart Logs need to run in the backgound?
This will allow Smart Logs can backup data to your account even when you re-boot the phone

Attention:
If a third-party security app has been installed on your phone, you must add Smart Logs to that app's exceptions as well


For Xiaomi devices:
1. Autostart
  1. Open "Security" and tap "Permissions"
  2. Select "Autostart"
  3. Find Smart Logs and turn on the switch
2. Battery manager
  1. Open Settings
  2. Select "Battery & performance"
  3. Select "Choose apps"
  4. Find Smart Logs and select "No restrictions" in background settings


For Samsung devices:
1. Autostart
  1. Open Smart Manager
  2. Slide right on the screen and tap run apps
  3. Find Smart Logs and turn on the switch
2. Battery manager
  1. Tap Smart Manager
  2. Select Battery, and tap to enter settings page
  3. Tap Unmonitored apps, find Smart Logs and tap to enter
  4. Tap Battery, and tap Optimaze battert usage
  5. Select All apps, find Smart Logs and turn off the switch


For Oppo devices:
1.Autostart
  1. Open Phone Manager and find Privacy Permissions
  2. Enter Startup Manager
  3. Find Smart Logs and turn on the switch
2.Battery manager
  1. Open Settings, and tap Battery
  2. Tap Energy Saver
  3. Find Smart Logs and turn off Background Freeze and Abnormal Apps Optimization
If you can't set after you complete above steps, try to
  1. Open Phone Manager, and find Clear background
  2. Tap to add app
  3. Tick Smart Logs and tap OK


For Huawei devices:
1.Autostart
  1. Open Phone Manager
  2. Select and enter "Launch"
  3. Find Smart Logs and turn switch off
  4. Tap to enter "Manage batch manually"
  5. Find Smart Logs, and tick "Auto-launch" "Secondary launch" "Run in background"
If it doesn't work after the above settings, try to
  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Permission manager
  3. Select App auto-launch
  4. Find Smart Logs, and turn on the switch

2.Battery manager
  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Advanced settings
  3. Select Battery manager
  4. Select Protected apps
  5. Find Smart Logs, and turn on the switch
If the EMUI version is updated recently, it's unnecessary to make changes in Settings


For other devices:

  1. Allow Smart Logs to autostart in Security/Settings → Autostart
  2. Add Smart Logs to exceptions
  3. If you've installed another startup manager, remove Smart Logs from its blocklist
